Greetings & Welcome!

My name is Sasha Pak.

I come from a 3rd generation Korean family in Sakhalin Island, Russia.

Singing and music have been my long time passion, which has now turned into my profession as well. I performed with a number of orchestras and bands in Russia, participated in various singing competitions and choirs. Through the years, I have continuously honed the understanding and mastery of my voice. The great thing about it is that it’s a life-long journey. Indeed, my personal motto is to “Never stop learning”, not only in music but in life as a whole.

I have lived in several countries including Australia, United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, Norway, South Korea and my native Russia. I haven’t really counted all the countries I’ve travelled to, but it’s a fair number too. If you are organising a trek to one of the poles, let me know ;)

Learning new languages and cultures is one of my favourite pastimes. Apart from Russian and English, I can converse in Spanish, French and Korean with a varying degree of fluency.

In 2018, I left my job at a Silicon Valley tech company and have been earning my living through singing since.

Through my song repertoire, I combine my varied background, passion for music, different cultures and travelling.

These days, you can catch me performing at the iconic locations of cities like London and Sydney. I love the impromptu and chance nature of performing on the street. I also perform at private and corporate functions, arts and music festivals.

In my spare time, I learn new songs, continue honing my singing and performance skills, immerse myself into the science and practice of well-being and positive psychology.

In addition to music, I take interest in history and politics, and have a masters degree from one of the world’s leading business schools.

My Repertoire

I take pleasure in combining different genres and languages in my song choice.

In total, I have now over 200 songs in my repertoire which can be broadly broken down into:

  • Classical crossover and opera (e.g. Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Il Divo)

  • Jazz standards (e.g. Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como, Bobby Darrin)

  • Musicals and musical theatre (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s creations, Les Miserables, The Greatest Showman)

  • Pop and popular world classics in English, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish and Korean

For those of you curious about the voice classification, I’d personally classify my voice as a high baritone with some crossover into the tenor territory.

Thank you for your wonderful performance at our wedding.

It was exactly how I imagined it.

I am so happy we chose you!

Experience

I have experience performing at private and corporate functions as well as festivals and events big and small:

  • From special occasions celebrating intimate family anniversaries to beautifully arranged wedding ceremonies

  • From largest arts festivals such as Adelaide Fringe to open air concerts in most scenic locations including Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden in London and Hyde Park in Sydney

I love challenging the established boundaries and combining classical operatic arias, jazz standards and popular world classics in different languages in my repertoire.
